By combining accessible video walk-throughs, and real-time facility updates, we help users plan with confidence and businesses showcase their commitment to access. Our mission is to transform how accessibility is delivered across hospitality, sport, and culture, building a platform rooted intrust, visibility, and meaningful impact. Our platform has evolved over the years, from delivering trustworthy and reliable access information that is sourced directly from the businesses and venues listed on our platform, to enabling businesses to provide real-time information about their access facilities and allowing businesses to take control of their profiles and information. The Accessible Guide is growing in size and infrastructure. This is evident through the businesses and partners we have worked with over the past 12 months including Everton Football Club, Liverpool City Council and Liverpool City Region Combined Authority. This role involves working from home/university, and visiting the appropriate venues to capture the footage for the video content. There will be one meeting per week with the Managing Director to discuss work schedules and other critical information relating the projects. You will be joining us and will form part of a team that values clarity, purpose, and practical problem‑solving. You won’t be making filler content — you’ll be producing videos that directly support disabled people and influence how venues think about accessibility. Duties and responsibilities
The Video Content Creator will play a key role in producing clear, engaging, and accessible video content that supports The Accessible Guide in our mission to improve real‑world accessibility for disabled people. This role is ideal for a student who wants to use creative skills to make a tangible social impact.
The purpose of the role is to:
Capture real environments, routes, and accessibility features across venues and public spaces.
Produce short-form videos that help disabled people navigate places with confidence.
Support the development of the companies digital tools by creating visual content that demonstrates how accessibility information works in practice.
Contribute to storytelling that highlights lived experience, inclusion, and modern accessibility design.
This is a hands-on creative role where your work directly improves people’s lives.
MAIN DUTIES:
CONTENT PRODUCTION
Film high-quality video content in real environments (e.g., routes, entrances, lifts, toilets, level changes, signage, sensory environments).
Capture footage that accurately reflects accessibility realities — clarity, accuracy, and dignity are essential.
Edit videos into short, modern, social-friendly formats suitable for web, QR-linked content, and stakeholder presentations.
Add captions, labels, and simple on-screen graphics to support clarity and accessibility.
CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT
Work with the team to storyboard and plan content that aligns with our company's mission and tone.
Help develop new visual formats that make accessibility information easier to understand.
Contribute ideas for improving how we visually communicate accessibility, routes, and user experience.
COLLABORATON AND WORKFLOW
Work alongside the Managing Director to understand project requirements and operational context.
Attend site visits to capture footage appropriate venues.
Organise and manage video files, ensuring content is stored and labelled clearly for future use.
QUALITY & ACCESSIBILITY
Ensure all content meets accessibility standards (clear audio, readable captions, steady footage, accurate representation).
Maintain a consistent visual style that reflects the company's brand and values.
Uphold safeguarding, privacy, and ethical filming practices at all times.
Skills and experience
This role is designed for a Level 6 undergraduate student with developing creative skills, a willingness to learn, and an interest in using video to improve real-world accessibility. The specification below outlines the essential and desirable qualities we are looking for.

We welcome applicants from a range of creative and digital backgrounds, the key requirement is an interest in producing clear, accessible video content.
Essential Skills & Knowledge
1. Video Production Skills
Ability to film short-form video content using a DJI Osmo Pocket 3.
Understanding of basic filming principles (framing, lighting, stability, clarity).
Awareness of how to capture footage that accurately represents real environments.
2. Video Editing Skills
Ability to edit short videos using tools such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar.
Ability to create branded content using platforms such as Canva.
Ability to add captions, labels, and simple graphics to support clarity and accessibility.
Understanding of pacing, sequencing, and visual storytelling.
3. Communication & Collaboration
Ability to communicate clearly with team members and follow creative briefs.
Confidence to ask questions, suggest ideas, and contribute to planning sessions.
Professionalism when filming in public spaces and interacting with venue staff.
4. Attention to Detail
Commitment to accuracy, especially when capturing accessibility features.
Careful approach to file organisation, naming conventions, and version control.
Ability to maintain consistency in style, tone, and visual clarity.
5. Understanding of Accessibility (or willingness to learn)
Awareness of the importance of accessibility for disabled people.
Sensitivity to lived experience and ethical filming practises.
Willingness to learn how accessibility information should be represented visualy.
Desirable Skills & Experience
These are not essential, but would strengthen an application:
Experience producing content for social media platforms.
Knowledge of colour grading, audio balancing, or motion graphics.
Experience filming in public spaces or documenting real environments.
Understanding of inclusive design, user experience, or accessibility standards.
Interest in community impact, social innovation, or public-facing storytelling.
