Think Clearly Tuition is seeking a motivated and creative individual to join us as a Social Media Content & Digital Marketing Creator Intern as part of an LJMU internship placement.
This role is ideal for a student with a strong interest in digital marketing, content creation, and social media strategy, who wants real-world experience working with an established education business.
Duties and responsibilities
The intern will support the creation of engaging digital content for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, helping to promote online tuition, courses, and educational resources for home-educated and GCSE/IGCSE students. The role offers hands-on experience in planning, designing, and evaluating social media content within a small, supportive business environment.
Skills and experience
The successful candidate should demonstrate knowledge or understanding of:
- Social media platforms, particularly Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
- Basic principles of digital marketing and brand communication
- Content types such as posts, stories, reels, short-form video, and captions
- Awareness of how different audiences engage with content online
- Creative communication skills
- Ability to generate ideas for social media content
- Confidence writing short captions and post copy in a clear, engaging tone
- Digital and technical skillsBasic experience using social media platforms
- Familiarity with tools such as Canva, CapCut, or similar design/video apps (training can be provided)
- Organisation and time management
- Ability to manage small tasks and deadlines
- Willingness to plan content and follow a posting schedule
- Basic video editing or reel creation
- An eye for branding, colour, and layout
- Willingness to analyse engagement (likes, comments, views) and reflect on what works well
- Experience using social media in a personal, academic, or voluntary capacity
- Experience creating any form of digital content (e.g. posts, videos, graphics, university projects)
- Experience managing or contributing to a social media account for a business, society, or project
- Experience linked to marketing modules, coursework, or placements
