Description

Role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Holiday Club Lead. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, great communication skills and a real passion for teaching children Computing.

Dates: 30/03/26, 31/03/26, 01/04/26 and 02/04/26

Duties and responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership: Serve as the main point of contact and the responsible lead for a local Holiday and Activities Club, ensuring high-quality, safe, and enriching experiences for all participants.
  • Team Management: Manage, support, and supervise all club staff, including coaches and assistants, ensuring clear communication, team coordination, and performance accountability.
  • Activity Oversight: Design, oversee, and help deliver a diverse range of holiday activities, including coding workshops, sports, arts, and crafts, ensuring a balanced programme that meets the needs and interests of the children.
  • Administrative Duties: Monitor attendance, maintain accurate records, and manage administrative tasks related to the club’s operations, including incident reports, registers, and planning documentation.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Area Director, including attendance figures, staff performance, and any operational concerns or successes.
  • Classroom Management: setup of the equipment in classroom and clearing away equipment at the end of the day. Ensuring the workspace is tidy at the end of the club.

Skills and experience

  • Teaching: 1 year (Required)
  • Driving Licence (Required)
  • Ability to work in the United Kingdom (Required)
  • Teaching Assistant Qualification (Optional)
  • A want to deliver Coding to Primary Children aged 5-11
  • Any prior knowledge in visual programming languages, block-coding or robotics is desirable.
  • All candidates will need a DBS qualification to work within this job role. This can be ascertained on behalf of the successful candidate.
