Duties and responsibilities
The role involves visiting local gyms and community venues to help schedule and capture content, supporting social media posting and content planning, and helping tell the stories behind our work with young people. A journalism student would gain hands-on experience in interviewing, writing short features, capturing quotes, and turning real community work into engaging digital content. The role also includes engaging with local businesses and partners to promote Weapons Down Gloves Up and highlight positive stories across our platforms. This is a practical, real-world opportunity to build a portfolio
