Role

We are seeking a motivated Research Assistant to join a research team delivering a funded scoping review titled: “Mental Health Disparities During Perimenopause and Menopause Among Ethnic Minority Women in the UK.”
This exciting project addresses a significant gap in the UK evidence base, exploring how mental health outcomes during menopausal transitions are shaped by biological, sociocultural, and systemic determinants. The findings will inform future research, policy, and culturally responsive interventions. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team committed to advancing equity in women’s health.
Duties and responsibilities
What You Will Do
- Conduct database and grey literature searches
- Manage references and evidence screening using Rayyan/EndNote
- Screen, extract, chart and synthesise evidence using JBI-informed methods
- Contribute to a manuscript for publication
- Join a collaborative academic environment that supports Early Career Researcher development
