It’s Our Planet Too is a children’s eco brand and social enterprise creating fun, engaging activity kits that help children care forthe planet. We’re looking for a Junior Designer to work closely with the founder to help shape and develop our visual identity asthe brand grows.

You’ll play a hands-on role in creating design assets across our products, website, and social media, helping ensure everything looks cohesive, playful, and aligned with our values. This is a great opportunity for a junior designer who wants broad experience, creative ownership, and meaningful work.

 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the founder to develop and refine the brand’s visual identity
  • Design creative assets for physical products (e.g. activity kits, packaging, inserts)
  • Create visuals for the website, including banners, graphics, and layout elements
  • Produce engaging content for social media (static posts, simple animations, stories, etc.)
  • Adapt designs across formats while maintaining brand consistency
  • Support with general design tasks as the business grows

Skills and experience
Essential

 
  • A degree or equivalent experience in graphic design or a related creative field
  • Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) or similar tools
  • A good eye for colour, layout, typography, and illustration
  • Ability to follow and develop a visual brand style 
  • Interest in sustainability, children’s products, or purpose-led brands
  • Willingness to take feedback and collaborate closely in a small team
  • Good organisation and time-management skills

Desirable

  • Experience designing for children or educational products
  • Basic experience with web or digital design 
  • Illustration skills (digital or hand-drawn)
  • Experience creating content for social media
  • An understanding of eco-conscious or ethical branding
