Duties and responsibilities
The main duties of this role will be
- To support the Interior Designers with ongoing projects, including on-site installations, sourcing materials, and collating design schemes.
- Alongside this, the apprentice will assist in managing and developing our social media presence, primarily on Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok. We are looking for someone with knowledge and confidence in digital content creation who can help reflect our studio’s work and values online.
- The role will involve implementing our existing marketing framework, while also contributing their own creative ideas and expertise to help raise the profile of DOVE Interior Design.
Skills and experience
We are seeking a motivated Level 6 undergraduate student with a strong interest in both interior design and digital marketing. Ideally, applicants will be studying Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Product Design, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Fashion Promotion, Media, or a related creative/business discipline.
- Design & Technical Skills: A good understanding of interior design principles, with experience in creating mood boards, sample boards, and design schemes. Basic knowledge of CAD software (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) is desirable, along with confidence in sourcing materials and products but not essential.
- Marketing & Digital Media Skills: A strong interest in marketing and social media, with experience using platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok. The ability to create engaging content, understand trends, and support brand growth through digital channels is essential.
- Communication & Teamwork: Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a small creative team while also managing tasks independently. The candidate should be reliable, organised, and able to take initiative.
- Creativity & Professionalism: A creative mindset, good attention to detail, and a professional approach to representing the studio both in person and online.
