Description
Role
To provide assistance for a Rapid Evidence Review on AI, Digital Technologies and Gambling Harms to children and young people, funded by UKRI.
Duties and responsibilities
The role will involve working on a desk-based practice review. The research assistant will be involved in all aspects of the review, including supporting with the development of the review approach, carrying out searches, extracting data, appraising the evidence, and synthesising/reporting findings. The research assistant will work as part of a team with Dr Nomisha Kurian and one other RA, and will be included as a named author on all publications relating to the review.
Skills and experience
· Excellent communication and organisation skills
· Holding a postgraduate qualification in any field relating to either 1) children and young people and/or 2) digital technology/ digital safety and/or 3) public health
· Attention to detail
· The ability to work independently and as part of a team
· Record keeping and meeting deadlines will be essential for this role
· Knowledge or interest in child digital safety
Location
Flexible, mostly home-based
