Description
Role
The Student Health & WEllbeing team are looking for a Temporary Administrator to provide additional administrative support to the Student Health & Wellbeing service.
Duties and responsibilities
- To maintain student data, records and communication in line with both GDPR and service-level policy and procedure
- Contribute to the ongoing maintenance and development of key service systems used for capturing, storing, and sharing data
- Administer service calendars and scheduling systems, ensuring these remain accurate and up-to-date
- Contribute to reporting processes and undertake ongoing service monitoring and evaluation
- Provide administrative support for ongoing project work as appropriate
- Undertake other duties for the service as directed by the Engagement Manager commensurate with the level of responsibility for the role
Skills and experience
- Experience of dealing with sensitive information in line with GDPR
- Experience of working in an international and multi-ethnic community and an understanding of what this involves
- Experience of working flexibly to tight deadlines
- Strong planning and organisational skills and the ability to anticipate
- The ability to be able to work independently with initiative and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent record-keeping skills and an attention to detail
- The ability to work effectively in a busy & complex reception area whilst managing multiple administrative tasks
- A calm, reassuring and mature approach in dealing with a range of student/staff queries and the tasks required of the role
- Excellent proficiency in the use of varied IT applications including those which form the Microsoft Office 365 suite, as well as the ability to learn new IT skills and systems quickly, as required (E.g. SITS / SAP)

Flexible, option to work on campus and from home as required
