This is an exciting opportunity to work with a company that provides digital expertise to help businesses grow through web, mobile, desktop integrations. Their team provides the technical expertise to help businesses enhance their performance and support their growth.

Our client are seeking a Graduate Front-end Web Developer to join their team. This is a flexible, remote assignment designed for a developer who wants to work on high-performance web applications and mobile products for blue-chip clients.

Working days and hours are Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week.This position is fully remote. 

Duties and responsibilities

As this is a graduate-level role, we prioritise a strong portfolio and foundational knowledge over years of corporate experience. You should be comfortable with:

  • Core Web: Solid knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3/SASS.
  • Logic: Clean coding skills in JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Frameworks: Exposure to front-end component libraries and building Single Page Applications (SPAs).
  • Design to Code: Ability to translate designs from Figma or Adobe XD into responsive reality.
  • Workflow: Basic knowledge of GIT and build tools like WebPack or Gulp.
  • Connectivity: Understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON.

Skills and experience

  • A Proactive Problem Solver: You take ownership of an issue and see it through to the finish line.
  • Remote-Ready: You are a strong communicator who is comfortable collaborating via Monday.com and Slack.
  • Detail-Oriented: You care about semantic markup, SEO best practices, and clean code.
  • A Team Player: You enjoy collaborating on big ideas but are equally happy getting stuck into a project independently.
  • Developing new web applications, websites, and mobile apps.
  • Adding new features and functionality to existing client applications.
  • Debugging and problem-solving to ensure our products stay top-tier.
  • Occasional remote customer support and training.
