Description
Role
We're looking for a proactive individual to connect with Business School Master's graduates (Class of 2025). This is a part-time role which supports the School's rankings efforts in collecting employment data from 3-6 months post-graduation. This involves contacting graduates through WeChat, LinkedIn, emails and telephone calls. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin essential.Due to confidentiality this role is not open to Business School postgraduate students.
Start Date: 25/2/26
End Date: 30/7/26
Working Hours: To be arranged directly with the hiring manager
Pay Rate: £13.30 per hour
Holiday Pay Rate: £1.61 per hour
Location: UoN, Business School North, Jubilee Campus
Dress Code: Smart CasualDuties and responsibilities
Contacting MSc and MBA graduates (2025) circa 900 graduates by telephone call/email/social media e.g. WeChat, LinkedIn
Surveying the graduates about their career progression (using a prepared set of questions), identifying those that require careers support and making referrals to a Careers Consultant.
Logging confidential information ascertained from the calls. This information is the used for the Business School's data submission to the Financial Times and QS MBA and Masters rankings.Skills and experience
Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
Ability to communicate with Chinese graduates fluently in their native language and graduates from the UK and other countries in fluent English
Professional and confident telephone manner
Professional approach to written communications and proficient in the use of WeChat, LinkedIn and email
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly, elicit information, signpost to further support and encourage graduates to complete online career progression surveys.
Methodical approach to tasks whilst paying attention to detail
Experience of handling confidential information
