Role
We are currently seeking a reliable and proactive Kitchen Porter to join the catering team at a well-regarded independent school in Warwick. You will provide essential support to the kitchen and dining areas.
This role is from 12pm-3pm on Monday 2nd & Tuesday 3rd February..
Duties and responsibilities
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
- Washing up and ensuring crockery, cutlery, and kitchen utensils are clean and stored properly.
- Assisting kitchen staff with basic food prep tasks as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with food hygiene and health & safety standards.
- Removing waste and keeping the kitchen tidy and organized.
Skills and experience
- Previous experience in a similar role (kitchen porter, catering assistant, etc.)
- Proactive and hardworking attitude with the ability to work independently.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy school environment.
