Role

Are you passionate about improving how people experience and interact in the digital world? Do you want to translate psychological findings on how to foster digital literacy in young people and share them at public engagement events? As a Student Research Assistant for Public Engagement and Co-Creation we are looking for students who can help us find better ways to communicate our research on digital literacy with young people and the general public to help everybody making better choices online. 

Please note, due to the ature of this role applications are only open to current Warwick University Students.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Review and suggest improvements to public engagement materials
  • Participate actively in ideas generation
  • Create and test potential new public engagement resources
  • Participate in staff team meetings
  • Identify, survey, and gather information and content (e.g., to evaluate public engagement activity)

  • Ability to work independently but also as part of a diverse team
  • A professional attitude
  • A creative approach to testing and developing ideas in a diverse team
  • Confidence in providing insights from own experience
  • Ability to demonstrate and communicate ideas, techniques, and knowledge
