Role
The Gradvisor Campus Ambassador is a paid, part-time student role designed to support Gradvisor’s presence and growth at the University of Gloucestershire.
Ambassadors work 6 hours per week, split between content creation and outreach, helping to raise awareness of Gradvisor and encourage student sign-ups.
This role offers hands-on experience in social media content creation, outreach and peer engagement, with structured guidance from Gradvisor, our creative agency partners and our outreach partner CMD Careers.
Duties and responsibilities
Content Creation (approx. 3 hours per week)
- Discuss, plan, and agree content ideas with Gradvisor and our partnered creative agency
- Film short-form video content on campus for Gradvisor’s social media platforms
- Capture authentic student experiences, campus life, and relevant events
- Follow creative briefs and incorporate feedback on drafts and edits
- Submit content in line with agreed timelines and brand guidelines
Outreach & Recruitment (approx. 3 hours per week)
- Promote Gradvisor to students at the University of Gloucestershire through peer-to-peer engagement
- Support on-campus recruitment at events, societies, fairs or informal student spaces
- Use LinkedIn to support digital and cold outreach to students and student leaders
- Work with CMD Careers and other partners to deliver structured outreach activity
- Share digital sign-up links and clearly communicate Gradvisor’s purpose and benefits
- Track outreach activity and provide short weekly updates to the Gradvisor team
Skills and experience
Essential:
- Current student at the University of Gloucestershire (undergraduate or postgraduate)
- Confident communicator, both in person and online
- Comfortable appearing on camera and using social media platforms
- Organised, proactive, and able to work independently
- Interest in student communities, careers, and digital engagement
Desirable:
- Experience creating short-form video content
- Experience in student ambassador, society or outreach roles
- Familiarity with LinkedIn for professional networking or outreach
- Interest in social mobility, careers education or widening participation
