Role
The Department of Marketing and Communications enables the University to develop and manage its brand and reputation through effective and efficient communications. We use multiple on and offline channels to engage with a wide range of audiences including prospective students, current students, staff, and businesses.
Duties and responsibilities
The role requires the use of our internal task management system to pick up, track, and manage requests from teams around the university. There will also be other tasks to complete that involve uploading and editing content on the University websites, both internal and external facing. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Digital Manager, and will work closely with the Digital Content Lead on a day-to-day basis.
Skills and experience
A good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of programmes is essential. A strong familiarity with website content management systems and a basic knowledge of how websites work is also essential. A working understanding of how marketing campaigns work is optional though would be advantageous. The successful candidate will be working in a busy team and need to be able to work under pressure though most importantly have very good attention to detail.
