Role
*Ringfenced to LJMU students from The Faculty of Society and Culture*The Faculty of Society and Culture (SAC) Education and Student Experience Committee is comitted to identifying and promoting best practice in the student experience. The SAC Faculty is recruiting students to conduct research into student student perceptions of engaging and intellectually stimulating teaching in each of the following schools in the faculty: Art and the Creative Industries (ACI), Education (EDN), Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS), Law & Justice Studies (LJS) and Liverpool Business School (LBS). There are 5 vacancies, one per school. Recommendations from this research project will inform the development of student-facing communications about learning and teaching at LJMU.
Duties and responsibilities
After attending a launch event you will devise a research plan to survey students in your schools. You will then conduct your research, collate & analyse your data and produce a report. Remuneration will be paid in full, contingent upon completion of the project via delivery of the project report within the deadline.
Skills and experience
You must be a student in one of the schools in the SAC Faculty and and ideally will have completed one full academic cycle. Your communication and networking skills will enable you to effectively engage with students from all programmes within your school. You will have the discipline to work independently and the ability to write a concise report within the project deadline.
