Role
Unitemps are recruiting for Graduation Brand Ambassadors within the Vice President External Engagement department. The role is to work between 18th-22nd May, 6th July and between 7th-11th September 2026 full-time at 8-12 hour days. Payment is set at £14.85 + holiday pay per hour and the role will be in person based at Royal Festival Hall.
The graduation events will run from 7.30am - 8.30pm with shift patterns and built in breaks with catering provided. These events are our opportunity to celebrate our student’s academic achievements, and we would be delighted for you to be a part of the fantastic team that makes it happen. We love to include Brand Ambassadors to help send our graduating students off in style!
Duties and responsibilities
- Welcoming and registering graduates and guests
- Ushering and directing guests around the building
- Supporting the ceremony team with the auditorium by directing graduates to the stage and back to their seats
- Helpdesk support with selling guest tickets
- Working on the merchandise stall selling and replenishing stock
- Assisting with drinks receptions
Skills and experience
- A UCL student/ Alumni
- Excellent communication skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Fantastic face to face customer service experience
- Able to quickly grasp new information
- Able to work under pressure
- Previous experience working as a student/brand ambassador or at graduation/other UCL events

Please note to be eligible to work within this role, you must have the right to work in the UK, physically based in the UK and be able to travel to our London based office for a RTW check (if required). This job will close for applications at 11.59pm on 16th April 2026.
