Role
Duties and responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality swimming lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Ensure the safety and welfare of all pupils at all times
- Plan and adapt lessons to suit varying abilities
- Maintain a positive, supportive, and engaging learning environment
- Communicate effectively with school staff and poolside support
- Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and pool operating procedures
Skills and experience
- Level 2 Swimming Teacher Qualification (essential)
- Valid DBS check (essential)
- Previous experience teaching swimming to school-aged children
- Strong knowledge of water safety and safeguarding practices
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Professional, reliable, and punctual
