Role
Unitemps are recruiting for a Student Project Researcher within the Student Support and Wellbeing department. The role is to work the date of Monday 23rd February 2026 and will run until Friday 12th June 2026 part time at 5 hours per week . Payment is set at £15.00+ holiday pay per hour and the role will be HYBRID based.
Duties and responsibilities
- Review and adapt the draft training outline into accessible, practical content
- Gather insights from students, staff, and relevant stakeholders (e.g., Students’ Union, Faculty staff, disabled and neurodivergent students)
- Research sector-wide good practice and resources on inclusive education and reasonable adjustments
- Support co-creation sessions, taking notes, synthesising feedback, and integrating suggestions
- Contribute to drafting training content and supplementary resources (guides, FAQs, resource lists)
- Collaborate with the project learning designer and project team to test and refine the training
- Assist in pilot delivery and contribute to evaluation activities, including reporting
Skills and experience
- Currently enrolled Postgraduate Research UCL student.
- Experience with equity, inclusion, and student success in higher education, ideally reasonable adjustments.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and students, valuing different perspectives.
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Ability to manage tasks independently, meet deadlines, and stay organised.
- Lived experience of disability, neurodivergence, or other marginalised identity (voluntary disclosure).
- Familiarity with reasonable adjustments and/or inclusive teaching practices. Experience in research, student partnership, or co-creation projects
- Basic knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., digital accessibility, universal design for learning)
