Role
*Ringfenced to LJMU Post Graduate students*

Public health researchers in the School of Public and Allied Health are seeking a motivated research assistant to support a range of  projects focused on smoking and vaping. This role involves working across multiple initiatives, requiring strong organisational, research and writing skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.

Duties and responsibilities
Assist in the collection, collation, analysis and presentation of data from multiple sources using mixed methods (qualitative and quantitative).

Support the preparation of a report and journal article, including drafting sections and formatting documents.
Contribute to literature reviews and synthesis of findings.
Support a stakeholder event Coordinate tasks to meet project timelines and deliverables.

Skills and experience
Post graduate student. 

Strong mixed methods research skills, including data management, analysis and presentation.
Ability to multi-task and work on several projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in presenting data clearly and concisely.
Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail for report drafting and formatting.
Competence in using research software and tools (e.g., Excel, NVivo, SPSS or similar).
Works well independently but also a team player
