Description
Role
*Ringfenced to LJMU MSc or PhD students in Civil or Mechanical Engineering or any other Engineering discipline*
This is a 6 month Research Assistant position.
Duties and responsibilities
The role involves Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using Abaqus, structural modelling, application of environmental load cases, and validation of computational optimisation results. The RA will contribute to high-impact journal and conference publications and work within an interdisciplinary research team.
Skills and experience
Desirable experiences: Experience with Abaqus or similar FEA software.
