Role
We are currently recruiting for a HR Coordinator to work on a 7 week temporary contract, starting on 12th January 2026.

Duties and responsibilities

Maintain accurate records of redundancy communications, selection criteria, and affected employees.

  • Ensure all redundancy procedures comply with employment law and internal policies
  • Prepare and issue formal letters (e.g., consultation notices, redundancy confirmations, termination letters)
  • Act as a first point of contact for employee queries regarding redundancy, entitlements, and next steps
  • Coordinate and support consultation meetings between HR, management, and employees
  • Provide clear, empathetic communication to affected staff throughout the process

Skills and experience

  • Proven experience in supporting redundancy and organisational change processes
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage sensitive conversations
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems
