Role

The data annotation role supports the development of advanced AI models for agricultural intelligent robots. The annotated images will be used to train computer vision systems that enable automation tasks such as plant health monitoring, scouting, and precision decision-making in real farming environments. High-quality annotations are essential to ensure robust model performance, reliability in diverse field conditions, and the overall success of next-generation agricultural automation technologies.This role will be responsible for labeling image data according to predefined categories and detailed annotation guidelines. Core duties include applying annotations consistently and accurately across large image sets, conducting verification checks to ensure correctness, and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the process. The role also involves reviewing and validating completed annotations, organizing datasets in a clear and systematic structure, and adhering to all internal workflows, documentation requirements, and quality assurance procedures.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Annotate images with predefined labels or categories based on given guidelines.
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and completeness in annotations across all images.
  • Review and verify data to confirm that annotations are correctly applied.
  • Maintain and organize annotated datasets in a structured and accessible manner.
  • Follow all internal procedures and quality control standards for image annotation.

Skills and experience

  1. Bachelor's degree or undergraduate
  2. Background in computer science or engineering or data science
  3. Familiar with data processing pipeline
  4. Familiar with machine learning / deep learning
  5. Experience in data annotation (preferred)
