Role
The research assistant will be conducting a range of sensory and consumer trials to understand the sensory profile of different sugars and understand taste-taste interactions
Start Date: 5th January 2026
End Date: 31st March 2026
Working Hours: 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday (36.25 hours per week)
Pay Rate: £17.02 per hour
Holiday Pay Rate: £2.05 per hour
Location: School of Biosciences, Sutton Bonington

- Recruiting participants
- Design sensory experiment
- Running sensory and consumer trials
- Data Analysis
Skills and experience
Food Hygiene trainings, experiences working with human participants
Ideally have experiences of conducting sensory and consumer trials and have data analysis skills
