Description
Role
The Main purpose of this role is to support the running of Study Smart 3 workshops, webinars and podcasts for students at The University of Northampton. You will also be expected to assist with the gathering and analysis of data from these events.
Duties and responsibilities
• To represent the student voice on the Study Smart 3 Project which is exploring the challenges and benefits of using Generative Artificial Intelligence (gAI) within learning and teaching.
• To assist with the development of and run a series of active workshops around the theme of gAI.
• To assist with the development of and run a series of drop-in webinars around the theme of gAI.
• To assist with the development of a set of podcasts around the theme of gAI.
• To assist with the gathering and analysis of research data from the Study Smart 3 workshops, webinars and podcasts.
• The post holder will be responsible and accountable for ensuring all employment legislative requirements are adhered to including equality and diversity and health and safety issues.

Skills and experience
Currently studying at the University of Northampton
Digitally confident, with excellent IT/digital skills and an ability to understand new/unfamiliar software quickly and intuitively
Experience of using generative Artificial Intelligence
Experience of using Microsoft Office applications, including Word and PowerPoint
Ability to run sessions for students
Friendly and approachable
Self-motivated and organised
