Role
Unitemps are recruiting for a Research Associate within the Geography department. The role is to work the date of Tuesday 6th January 2026 and will run until Friday 30th January 2026 part time at 10 hours per week. Payment is set at £19.59+ holiday pay per hour and the role will be HOME based.
Duties and responsibilities
Work will involve but will not be limited to;
- Identifying and tracking speakers and giving them codes
- Removing references to specific people or organisations,
- Correcting transcripts
Content is not sensitive but must be anonymised. Work must be manually done to meet research ethics requirements and develop accurate, high quality transcripts.
Skills and experience
- Strong written and oral English language skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A proactive approach to task completion and process enhancement.
- Experience working with confidential qualitative research data and transcripts
- Knowledge/awareness of the UK energy system and energy demand measures
