Movers n Soul Shakers is a creative wellbeing and events brand blending music, movement, and mindfulness through sound-healing sessions, DJ events, retreats, and community workshops in the UK and abroad. Based within Science of Sound CIC, this internship sits at the heart of our small, dynamic creative marketing team. The role offers hands-on experience in PR, digital content creation, and campaign management across lifestyle, wellness, and arts sectors.

Purpose of the Role

To assist in planning, promoting, and delivering marketing and PR campaigns that increase visibility for Movers n Soul Shakers events, retreats, and collaborations. The intern will help manage social media channels, create press materials, liaise with media outlets, and support community engagement strategies.

Duties and responsibilities
Main Duties

  • Assist in developing and scheduling digital marketing campaigns (Instagram, TikTok, Skool, website). 
  • Draft press releases, blog posts, and newsletters to promote upcoming events and artists. 
  • Research and contact media outlets, influencers, and wellness platforms for PR opportunities.
  • Support event promotion by creating engaging visual and written content.
  • Monitor campaign analytics and produce short performance reports.
  • Assist with on-site event coverage, photography, and audience engagement.
  • Maintain press databases and support partnership outreach. 

Based in Liverpool City Centre and remote.

Skills and experience
Interest in PR, marketing, branding, or events within music, arts, or wellbeing sectors.

 
Experience (academic or voluntary) in social media content creation or campaign planning. 
 
Familiarity with digital tools (Canva, Meta Business Suite, Google Drive, Mailchimp, etc.) preferred
