The Research Institute for Literature and Cultural History is based in the School of Humanities and Social Science and each year hosts a wide variety of research seminars, alumni workshops, public symposia and book launches. We wish to employ a postgraduate or doctoral student currently based in the English Literature and Creative Writing subject area to support the organisation and promotion (online, in person, and via social media) of our events.
Duties and responsibilities
- Organise and promote events and research seminars for the Research Institute of Literature and Cultural History.
- Provide social media promotion of the Institute and its activities.
- Support the RILCH Administrative Assistant.
Skills and experience
Suitable candidates will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a knowledge of and commitment to the work of the Research Institute. They will liaise effectively with the current RILCH Administrative Assistant and have strong organizational skills.
