Blue Frog Consultants Ltd is offering an exciting Discovery Internship for an LJMU student to contribute to a live business project. The Project: Eco-SnapCap represents a step-change innovation in sustainable hair and skincare packaging, addressing long-standing inefficiencies in bottle and cap design.
This is a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in digital marketing, branding, project support, and collaborative tools while making a real impact on supporting the project launch.
The intern will work closely with our team to deliver creative content, manage digital tools, and support project operations.
Duties and responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Review and refresh the existing project website for content, design, and user experience improvements.
Branding & Marketing Materials
- Assist in designing branding assets and promotional materials to support the project launch.
Digital Marketing Campaign:
- Develop a digital marketing plan including social media strategy, email campaigns, and content scheduling.
Video Production:
- Produce a short video highlighting the innovative product for use in marketing and branding.
Microsoft OneDrive & Collaboration Support:
- Organise and manage Microsoft OneDrive to create a fully functional shared workspace for employees.
- Ensure documents and resources are structured, accessible, and up to date.
Project Support
- Provide general assistance with day-to-day project tasks as needed to ensure timely delivery.
Learning Outcomes
- Gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, branding, and multimedia production.
- Learn to manage collaborative digital tools like Microsoft OneDrive effectively.
- Participate in real-world project delivery and marketing campaigns.
- Build a portfolio of work, including website improvements, marketing assets, and video content.

Skills and experience
Essential Skills & Attributes:
- Current LJMU student (all disciplines considered).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Interest or experience in digital marketing, branding, and multimedia content creation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive).
- Basic graphic design or video editing skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Premiere, iMovie).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly organised with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with website platforms (WordPress, Wix, Squarespace).
- Knowledge of social media marketing and campaign management.
- Creative mindset with a strong visual eye.
