Role
The Stores Team Member will be responsible for receiving daily deliveries between 08:00 and 12:00, ensuring the correct handling, logging, and movement of goods from the loading bay to three different kitchens and a central storage area. The role involves standard logistics duties including verifying invoices, organizing stock, and maintaining orderly storage areas.

 
Start Date - 1st December (break between 20th to 1st of Jan)

Duties and responsibilities

  • Receive goods daily from 08:00–12:00 and check deliveries against invoices.
  • Transport goods from the loading bay to three kitchens and central storage.
  • Ensure goods are handled safely and stored correctly.
  • Maintain accurate delivery and stock records.
  • Keep storage and loading bay areas clean and organised.
  • Support the Stock Controller with general logistics tasks.

Skills and experience

  • Experience in a logistics, stores, or stock-handling environment is beneficial.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle manual handling tasks safely.
  • Attention to detail when checking deliveries and documents.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Driving license required.
