This role will be primarily supporting the Marketing and Communications Manager on a project to develop and promote PortSunlight Village as a filming location to film & TV production companies, building on the success of previous filming projects in the village including Peaky Blinders and Tolkien. Connected to this, you will also support with developing and promoting Port Sunlight's venue hire offer.

Duties and responsibilities
The project will involve creating a filming location 'look book', adding and updating listings on relevant platforms, and developing and delivering a multi-channel targeted marketing campaign (including designing promotional materials) to promote our locations. Similarly, you will also support with developing our online venue hire booking system (full training given) and assisting with the promotion of these spaces. 

 
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and creative individual to gain valuable experience and make a contribution to a respected charity and iconic heritage site. The primary purpose of this project is to help Port Sunlight Village Trust attract more income to support our charity's work to look after this special village.

Skills and experience

  • Excellent communications skills (particularly written)
  • Interest in history, film & TV
  • Creative with a flair for design, ideally with experience using Canva
  • Suited for individuals studying media studies, marketing, communications, tourism management and graphic design
