POST Videographer – Internship 
 
REPORTS TO: National Manager - Private Courses
 
ROLE PURPOSE / SUMMARY An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Videographer to join the BioGrad Education Team. The successful candidate will work as part of the education team to provide a service and create short videos for each course we run.

Duties and responsibilities
The successful applicant will be responsible for creating video content, filming content, and editing all videos. 

  • To ensure all Health and Safety Policies are adhered to keep staff and students safe. 
  • Ensure that equipment and work/teaching areas are routinely cleaned, and equipment maintained. 
  • Work in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, Health and Safety guidelines, ISO standards and COSSH guidelines. 
  • Understand and perform procedures for spillage of chemical and biological material, and fire alarm procedure.
  • Maintain stock levels of all PPE and equipment.
  • Be responsible for the health and safety of students in the laboratories making sure students are not left alone in the laboratory areas. 
  • Ensure students wear appropriate PPE.

Skills and experience
The candidate will have experience with: 

  • Camera and film equipment. 
  • Planning and Creating video content. 
  • Editing Video content.
Essential criteria: 
  • Degree in film or media 
  • Videography: 1 year (Preferred) 
  • Video Production: 1 year (Preferred) 
  • Video Editing: 1 year (Preferred) 
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills
The successful candidate will develop skills/experience with the following:

  • Equipment maintenance
