This internship is for a Marketing & Social Media Intern at Chamber 36 Liverpool, a family-owned, independent restaurant andbar known for its Chinese Small Plates and Cocktails. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in ahospitality environment, playing a key part in growing the brand's online presence. The intern will work directly with themanagement team, contributing to real-world marketing campaigns and content creation that impacts the business.

 

Duties and responsibilities
The main purpose of this role is to assist in the planning and execution of the digital marketing and social media strategies.

 
Key Duties include:
  • Creating and scheduling content (photos and videos) for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok).
  • Engaging with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions.
  • Assisting with marketing campaigns, promotions, and brand partnership initiatives.
  • Contributing to content calendars and brainstorming new ideas to promote the restaurant.
  • Tracking key social media metrics to help analyse the performance of content

Skills and experience
We are looking for a motivated and creative individual with a passion for social media. 

 
The role is suitable for level 5 and 6undergraduate students, and while experience is a plus, a willingness to learn is essential.
 
Key Skills Required:
  • Creative Content Creation: Ability to develop visually appealing content, including strong photography and video skills.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written communication for crafting engaging social media captions and professional responses to customers.
  • Digital Literacy: Familiarity with social media platforms and a basic understanding of digital marketing principles
