Description

Role

Our students’ voices matter. Student feedback is vital to everything we do. That’s why we need your help to raise awareness and encourage completion of student surveys and feedback opportunities, including the National Student Survey and other strategic student surveys.

The National Student Survey is a UK wide, official survey, which is completed by final year students and asks about their university experiences. Results from the survey helps the University of Leicester to make improvements and helps prospective students to decide where they want to study. It takes place between January and April 2026. For more information see thestudentsurvey.com

Additionally, you may be involved in further survey promotion in March during a three-week intensive period.

Our student surveys invite feedback which we use to help make improvements to the student experience.

You may be based inside or outside, including at pop up stands, department completion sessions, or roaming on campus. This is on University of Leicester central campus mainly; some work at Freemen’s/Brookfield/halls/north campus may be required but will be advised in advance.

Shifts are flexible with the majority taking place between w/c Monday 12 January 2026 and w/c Tuesday 31 March 2026. Available shifts will vary in length. The longest shift will be 4 hours (occasionally, longer dependent on need). The shortest being 30-minute slots. We aim to ensure shifts are distributed fairly so students can work similar hours. Shift allocation is dependent on your availability.

There is a mandatory training session on Tuesday 13 January 2026, 1.00pm-3.00pm. You will not be able to start without undertaking this training session.
