Unitemps are recruiting for a Teaching & Learning Administrator within the Department of Electronic & Electrical Engineering. The role is to work the date of 17/11/2025 and will run until 19/12/2025 full time at 36.5 hours per week . Payment is set at £19.14+ holiday pay per hour and the role will be HYBRID based.

The Department of Electronic & Electrical Engineering is looking to recruit a Teaching & Learning Administrator to join our Professional Services team. It is intended that the Teaching and Learning team will work together, as and when required, to deliver a professional service to all students and taught courses in the Department. We are proud of being a welcoming and vibrant community and this post is a key part of the team. The Department offers a number of innovative teaching programmes at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, covering cutting edge themes and taught by world research leaders in their fields.
 
Acting as a point of contact for both staff and students, the role will support the department in the professional planning, effective delivery and evaluation of programmes within the student lifecycle. The role will also proactively support an inclusive, caring and supportive student experience.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Provide specialist administration to the designated teaching programmes, ensuring effective procedures are documented and adopted for dealing with all aspects of its administration.
  • Assist in achieving a high quality and timely service to current/prospective students and staff related to the designated courses/programmes and beyond.
  • Provide support for all matters relating to the teaching and learning activities of students from enquiry to completion, incorporating supporting committees and processes relating to assessment, student and course records.

Skills and experience
Experience of administration in higher/further education or a teaching and learning environment is essential as is course/programme administration experience.

 
We are looking for candidates with excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to liaise with a variety of people including staff and students, and the ability to work well within a team. The ability to prioritise and organise workload is essential as well as being able to work accurately with thorough attention to detail even when under pressure.
 
Knowledge of the complete academic cycle of admissions processes (including UCAS) and familiarity with UK and overseas qualifications is desirable.
