Duties and responsibilities
The candidate may have opportunities in the following:
- Desk-based study
- Training (e.g. GIS)
- Communications and outreach
- Volunteer management
- Data management
- Other duties associated with the functions of Merseyside Biobank (www.merseysidebiobank.org.uk)
- General office duties
- Field surveys (botanical / species / habitats, seasonally dependent)
Skills and experience
We are seeking a nature conservation, zoology, geography, and/or environmental science undergraduate student who has the following skills/interests/experience:
- A keen interest in nature conservation and wildlife recording
- Team work, time management and organisation
- Good communication
- Data management/handling
- A level of physical mobility suitable for working in varied terrain.
- Field work and/or voluntary experience
- Basic field ID skills (UK species)
- A drivers license and access to a vehicle
