Role
As part of our Inclusive Education work, we are looking to recruit a team of current students to support a range of student experience and inclusion-related projects.
This position is open to all Warwick students, and we particularly encourage students with lived experience to apply.

Examples of projects:
Projects will be confirmed with successful candidates once in post. As a guide, you may be involved in some of the following:
Inclusive Education Conference
Participants will be asked to assist the team in organising and delivering the Inclusive Education Conference, a new event planned for May 2026, which will bring all Faculties together to share current projects and initiatives in academic departments to support Equality, Diversity & Inclusion.
Duties are likely to include:
• Communicating and advertising the event.
• Setting up the spaces.
• Creating materials for the day, such as lanyards, signs, posters and programmes.
• Welcoming attendees and providing support on the day.
• Capturing the event through photos, videos and/or written reports.
Academic Essentials Project
The University launched Academic Essentials on MyWarwick in Welcome Week. This is phase one of the resource, and there are more stages to come. We would like the Inclusion Officers to assist with:
• Content creation – making videos/images/written content to support the online resource. Example topics include study spaces on campus, understanding University terminology, preparing for lectures and seminars, and using the Library.
• Leading focus groups with students.
• Supporting evaluation and testing
Personal Tutoring Review Implementation
Developing student-facing information about personal tutoring and resources to help Personal Tutors to effectively support diverse student groups. In the past, these have included guidance for mature, international, and Postgraduate students.
Ad-Hoc Project Support
• You will offer support to a variety of inclusion projects being developed across the University, which may involve developing resources, measuring success, helping raise awareness, and communicating findings to the University community. Last year, projects included an international student awarding gap research project and reviewing the accessibility of Warwick Sport. Successful candidates will learn more about opportunities available this year once in post.
Duties and responsibilities
- Informed by their personal experience at Warwick, post holders will provide insight, advice, and expertise to project work.
- Provide administrative and project support, including developing resources and organising events.
- Develop, review and co-create content to support staff and students to become more inclusive.
- Participate in research and activities that help to develop sense of belonging and inclusion for students in the University community.
- Share work with students across the University, including through societies and student networks.
Skills and experience
- Project planning skills
- Punctual and ability to work to deadlines
- Enthusiasm and ability to take on new projects or challenges.
- A high degree of proficiency with MS suite including Teams, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook or can demonstrate quick learning of different technologies e.g. web editing software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Some confidence in creating online content aimed at engaging the student population.
- Interested in creating a positive campus experience for all students and ability to work successfully and sensitively with diverse groups.
