About Sum Vivas Ltd
Sum Vivas is a UK-based AI innovation company developing Digital Humans and Digital Employees – intelligent, emotionally engaging, and multilingual avatars that enhance how organisations connect with customers, staff, and stakeholders.
Our mission is to humanise AI by combining advanced conversational intelligence with emotional, accessible, and inclusive design. Our Digital Employees work across retail, hospitality, transport, healthcare, entertainment, and education, improving engagement, service, and efficiency while gathering live data and insights.
You’ll be joining an agile, fast-moving, and creative environment where AI, behavioural science, and business strategy intersect. This role is part of the company’s Go-To-Market (GTM) planning team, which defines how we take our Digital Employees to market, identify commercial opportunities, and validate demand across sectors and geographies.
Purpose of the Role
The Market Research Intern will play a key role in shaping the GTM strategy for Sum Vivas’s Digital Employee suite (SmartKiosk, WebAgent, SocialAgent, and PhoneAgent).
You’ll help the business understand where, how, and why organisations are adopting AI-driven customer engagement technologies — providing data and insights to inform product positioning, pricing, messaging, and sales targeting.
This is a hands-on research and analysis role ideal for someone with a strategic mindset, strong curiosity about emerging technologies, and an interest in how AI is transforming the modern workforce.

- Identify early adopter profiles and decision-maker personas within high-footfall, high-engagement environments (e.g., airports, shopping centres, entertainment venues, and retail chains).
- Conduct or assist in surveys, interviews, or focus groups to validate hypotheses about market needs and perception of Digital Employees.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Compile, clean, and analyse quantitative and qualitative data using Excel, Google Sheets, or data visualisation tools.
- Create dashboards and market summaries highlighting growth potential, challenges, and opportunities.
- Deliver concise written and visual reports for internal presentations, investor decks, and GTM strategy reviews.

- Contribute insights to GTM playbooks, product roadmaps, and sales enablement materials.
- Collaborate with marketing to align messaging with customer pain points and market demand.
- Help identify strategic partnership or collaboration opportunities that could accelerate adoption.
- Participate in workshops with product and creative teams to translate market data into actionable strategy.
Emerging Technology & Trend Tracking
- Stay up to date on AI, conversational commerce, digital engagement, and automation developments.
- Track relevant policy, ethics, and regulatory frameworks affecting digital employees and AI in the workplace.
- Summarise thought leadership and publish short internal briefing notes on new insights or trends.
