Description

Role
Our client are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Marketing Support professional to assist in the planning, coordination, and delivery of marketing activities across the companies product portfolio. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, the successful candidate will play a key role in developing and executing marketing initiatives that support business growth, enhance brand presence, and drive customer engagement.

 
Working days and hours are Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week.
 
Salary for the position is £25,500 - £27,000 depending on experience. 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Marketing Strategy & Planning
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the annual marketing plan in alignment with company objectives and sales targets.
  • Monitor and report on marketing performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement. 
  • Product Marketing
  • Manage the marketing of the company’s product portfolio, ensuring effective communication of features, benefits, and value propositions.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and the sales team to update and maintain product brochures, datasheets, and presentation materials. 
  • Events & Exhibitions
  • Plan and coordinate trade exhibitions, conferences, and customer events, including logistics, booth design, and promotional materials. 
  • Digital Marketing
  • Oversee and maintain the company website, ensuring content is current, accurate, and engaging.
  • Manage social media platforms to increase visibility and engagement, developing campaigns to promote new products and company news.
  • Support email campaigns, digital advertising, and SEO/SEM initiatives. 
  • Design & Content Creation
  • Design and produce marketing collateral, including brochures, flyers, adverts, and product presentations.
  • Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all communication channels. 
  • General Marketing Support
  • Assist with day-to-day marketing administration, supplier liaison, and project coordination.
  • Support the Sales Director and wider sales team with ad hoc marketing tasks as required.

Skills and experience

Essential:

  • Proven experience in a marketing or marketing support role, ideally within healthcare, medical devices, or a technical product environment.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, both digital and traditional.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar).
  • Experience managing websites and social media channels.
  • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 

Desirable:

  • Experience with CRM and CMS systems.
  • Knowledge of the medical or healthcare industry.
  • Basic photography, video editing, or graphic design skills.
