Role
A unique opportunity for two students to provide research assistance to academic members of staff to support their research projects.
Start Date: 2nd February 2026
End Date: 21st April 2026
Working Hours: 25 hours in total to be arranged with the manager around studies
Pay Rate: £17.02 per hour
Holiday Pay Rate: £2.05 per hour
Location: UoN LASS Building
Dress Code: Smart CasualDuties and responsibilities
- Liaise directly with an academic
- Find cases, statutes, scholarly articles and book for a developing research project
- Draft summaries of materials
- Analyse materials
Skills and experience
- Legal research skills
- Analytical skills
- A background/interest in some area of commercial law
- Language skills are a plus
- Ability to work independently
