Description

Role

The purpose of this role is to run hour long experimental sessions in computer labs on campus, distribute and log payment vouchers.

 

Start Date: 17/11/25

End Date: 19/12/25

Working Hours: To be organised with the successful applicants

Pay Rate: £17.02 per hour

Holiday Pay Rate: £2.05 per hour

Location: UoN Computer Labs

Dress Code: Smart casual

Duties and responsibilities

  • Check in participants on arrival in computer lab and email them their link to get the experiment started
  • Address any issues in starting experiment from link
  • Be on hand to answer questions and address any issues during the experiment
  • At the end, provide payment voucher and log receipt of voucher

Skills and experience

  • Must have MA / MSc / M-Math
  • Be undertaking a PhD in English, Maths, or Psychology
  • Knowledge of coding (e.g., R, python, etc.)
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word etc)
