We’re looking for motivated, travel-loving students to join The Getaway Collection – a fast-growing community of nearly 1400 Independent Travel Agents. This isn’t a traditional job and there are no fixed hours. It’s a flexible, self-employed opportunity that fits perfectly around lectures, part-time work and student life. You choose when, where and how much you work - all you need is a laptop, wifi and your passion for travel. 

Please be aware that UK Visas and Immigration do not permit students on a Student Visa to be self-employed. Unfortunately, as this opportunity is a self-employed role, anyone on a student visa cannot apply.

Duties and responsibilities

As an Independent Travel Agent, you’ll help people plan and book their perfect holidays - from city breaks and group trips to bespoke adventures abroad.

You’ll have access to a huge network of trusted travel suppliers, meaning you can tailor every trip to suit your client’s style and budget.

Skills and experience
• A proactive, self-motivated attitude and ability to work independently

• Great communication and organisation skills

Additional information
• This is a self-employed opportunity, not a standard part time job with a salary. You’ll earn commission based income on every booking you make - the more bookings you make, the more you earn.

• To get started with your travel business, there’s a one off set up cost of £142, which gives you access to full training, your own travel booking system, and ABTA & ATOL certification (so you’re officially recognised in the travel industry).
• After that, it’s just £32 per month to retain access to the system and access ongoing training, tools and support. 
• There’s no contract or tie-in - you can cancel anytime, and there’s a 30-day money-back guarantee if you decide it’s not for you.
