Description
Role
We are seeking 5 Student Educational Development Associates to work with the Educational Development team on a range of projects related to teaching, learning and curriculum design at the University of Nottingham. We are eager to involve students in the evaluation, development and dissemination of educational practices at the University of Nottingham including, for instance, how students engage with feedback and assessment; the use of AI in teaching, learning and assessment; and the ways we involve students in institutional decision-making about learning and teaching.
Start Date: 26th January 2026
End Date: 31st July 2026
Working Hours:5 hours per week to be arranged with the manager
Pay Rate: £12.77 per hour
Holiday Pay Rate: £1.54 per hour
Location: University of Nottingham Park Campus
Dress Code: Smart CasualDuties and responsibilities
- Collaborating with staff and students to inform, support and evaluate teaching and learning practices
- Attending cross-university team meetings
- Reviewing data and project reports
- Fact-finding within your Faculty
- Facilitating student focus groups and consultations.
Skills and experience
- Current UG or PGT student at the University of Nottingham
- Ability to work collaboratively and inclusively with staff and students
- Ability to analyse and interpret qualitative and quantitative data.
