Description

Role

We are looking for confident undergraduate and postgraduate students of all ethnicities; backgrounds and identities to be the faces of UoN's upcoming student recruitment Social Sciences photoshoot. It will be a fun and relaxed opportunity to gain modelling experience and represent the various aspects of Social Sciences. If you would love to be part of this experience and meet new people, please apply, along with a recent photo; details of what course and year you are in.

 

Shift Date: 20th November 2025

Working Hours: 9am – 5pm

Pay Rate: £12.21per hour

Holiday Pay Rate: £1.47 per hour

Location: UoN Park Campus

Dress Code: Smart casual bright clothing

Duties and responsibilities

To model for branded student recruitment still imagery in various locations in and around Social Sciences buildings on University Park campus. This will involve modelling for mock-up class-room activities; studying in study spaces; mock tutorials etc

 

What to wear:

Your authenticity, energy, and personality matter and we want you to feel comfortable and express yourself! However, as these images will be used across student recruitment materials for our UK; Malaysia and China campuses, here are a few tips for what you would be required to wear:

  • Neat and clean clothing.
  • Avoid revealing outfits with low-cut tops.
  • No sleeveless; off-the-shoulder or cropped tops that expose the midriff or strapless pieces
  • Blazer; jacket or cardigan you can layer with in certain shots.
  • Steer clear of clothing with large logos or offensive language/images.
  • Colour! Some people gravitate toward darker colours — and that’s fine! But if you do have any brighter or more colourful pieces you love, please wear and/or bring those along too. We want you to bring your personality to the shoot and a splash of colour can really 'pop' in imagery.
  • UoN’s primary brand colours are blue and gold. But we do have secondary colours such as red, green, pink, orange, purple and turquoise.
  • Bring two or three change of outfits.

Skills and experience

Confident; sociable and good at taking photographic direction.

No previous modelling experience required.
