The ambassadors will be managed by the Student Communications & Engagement Manager and report into the Student Experience Group.

Students must be able to attend at least three events across Wellbeing week which will run Monday 3rd November until Friday 7th November and also on November 10th, and will agree which events to attend with their manager. Following the conclusion of the events, students will be asked to report their findings back to their manager and will present these in an online session to members of staff within the weeks following the event.

Duties and responsibilities

  • The focus of this role is to gather feedback through the survey form, voice recordings and videos (using your own phone or camera).

  • The ambassador will be required to attend at least 3 events during the week, confirming the chosen events with the manager in advance.

  • An online or in-person briefing session will be arranged where the ambassador will be given information on the University content best practices that must be followed for any videos filmed, and how to obtain permission from students to use their content.

  • An online debriefing session will be arranged where the ambassador will be asked to present all the feedback from event attendees in a clear report format. Ambassadors will also be given the option to attend a university meeting to share their report findings with key staff involved in designing student events.
