Salary: From £34,398 per annum + £1,000 Joining Bonus

If you’ve answered yes, this could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for!Our client – an Ofsted “Outstanding” specialist school for autistic children aged 4–19 – is seeking passionate and dedicated Qualified Teachers to join their expanding team.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Deliver behaviour-analysis-based teaching and learning to pupils with autism.
  • Track, analyse and report progress data to inform support plans.
  • Encourage pupils’ social and emotional development through interactive activities.
  • Participate in school trips and off-site learning opportunities (within school hours).
  • Contribute to curriculum design, lesson planning and themed school events.
  • Support life-skills programmes and entry-level qualifications for students.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Behaviour Analysts, Speech & Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists.

Skills and experience

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning & Skills (QTLS)
  • Minimum one year of ECT induction (if applicable)
  • Teaching experience within the UK education system and knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Interest or experience in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
  • Confidence supporting pupils with behaviours that challenge and providing personal care when needed
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and professional development
  • Physical capability to engage in active classroom environments
  • Competence with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
