The role holder will work closely with the Marketing and Communication teams, to plan, create, and publish original high-quality content (posts, videos, reels, blogs) that increase awareness of SoTD and its programmes, and encourages prospective students to engage with the university.

While the primary focus of this role is to produce engaging student-led content for all social channels, the role holder may also be required to work across various marketing platforms on occasion, including The Student Room, Unibuddy, and our Personalised Virtual Experience (Vepple).

Working with the marketing and communications team to plan a calendar of content, the role holder will be responsible for creating, editing and publishing regular content – covering a variety of topics including campus life, school facilities, priority programmes, and day-in-the-life, as well as ad-hoc university and cultural events. Acting as brand champion for the school, the role holder will be required to manage and reply to direct messages on the Instagram channel where appropriate.
