Description

Role

Create Growth NG2 (CGN2) is a Department of Culture, Media and Sport funded knowledge exchange programme through which Nottingham and Nottinghamshire businesses gain access to skills and expertise delivered by NTU and UON.

There are two strands of support, one is business development and the other is access to immersive technologies. The programme has been running since October 2023 and will run until the end of March 2026. The successful candidate will work with CGN2 Project Leads, Project Manager and wider partners to distribute and analyse a questionnaire and to interview participants in this programme (roughly 20 – 25 interviews) in order to evaluate the impact of this programme on the business who have been supported.

The successful candidate will lead on the drafting of an evaluation report that can be presented to key funders and stakeholders. They will receive support in the final presentation of this report from the project leads.

   

Start Date: 15/11/25

End Date: 31/12/25

Working Hours:7 hours per week to be arranged flexibly with the successful candidate

Pay Rate: £17.02 per hour 

Holiday Pay Rate: £2.05 per hour

Location: University of Nottingham Campus’s and working from home 

Dress Code: Smart casual
 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Collaborating with the CGN2 Project Leads on the development of an impact questionnaire and interview protocol.
  • Distributing and analysing impact questionnaire outcomes.
  • Conducting 1:1 interviews – a minimum of 20.
  • Coding and analysing interviews.
  • Authoring an evaluation report that can be shared with funders and key stakeholders.
  • Identifying case study companies for promotional purposes.

Skills and experience

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Experience in supporting the design and delivery of questionnaires and interviews.
  • Experience in analysing data according to agreed priorities.
  • Experience of synthesising and summarising complex data.
  • Some experience of presenting research materials for a range of audiences.
