Description
Role
The role involves supporting the delivery of an after-school maths club, helping to maintain positive behaviour within the classroom, and providing assistance to children with additional learning needs.
Due to working with children, the postholder will be required to have an enhanced DBS.
Delivery of the session is at remote school locations in Gloucestershire so own transport is advantageous.
Duties and responsibilities
- Deliver club content each week
- Be available when needed to assist in clubs
- Classroom behavior management
- Responsible for attendance and safeguarding
- Assist children with learning needs
Skills and experience
- Teaching experience preferable
- Ability to work with children and manage behavior essential
- Drive to place of work on time
- Basic maths proficiency required
- Outgoing and friendly personality
