Role

We have an exciting opportunity for one or two University of Warwick students (up to a total of 15 hours) to get hands-on arts marketing experience over a three-month period.

The successful candidate(s) will assist with crucial promotional tasks to support ticket sales across our busy and varied cinema and events programme. 

It is expected that the postholder(s) will be in the office on an agreed set day(s) each week.

This contract is initially until mid December 2025 with the potential to be extended.

Duties and responsibilities

Print distribution

  • Completing the University campus print distribution run - topping up leaflets, auditing sites, suggesting new places
  • Topping up print in the arts centre foyers
  • Keeping on top of posters in the public toilets across the arts centre
  • Sorting out print to be exit flyered at shows
  • Maintaining the print room alongside other team members i.e. removing and disposing of out-of-date assets, storing new assets in an organised manner, recycling old stock

Digital Marketing

  • Creating and maintaining webpages on the Warwick Arts Centre website
  • Creating and maintaining digital poster screens for the arts centre foyers
  • Creating promotional emails
  • Assisting with social media content capture and scheduling
  • Proofreading written content
  • Enthusiasm for the arts and arts marketing – you may be looking for a job in the sector one day

Skills and experience

  • Enthusiasm for the arts and arts marketing – you may be looking for a job in the sector one day
  • Familiarity with Warwick Arts Centre and its programme
  • Familiarity with the wider university campus/willing to learn and explore the campus
  • Ability to prioritise and use initiative
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Current University of Warwick student

Desirable

  • Experience of working with a CMS, email marketing platforms, and social media
